Intro to Mold-Making & Slip CastingInstructor: Tom CaycedoIn this course, students will delve into the realmof mold making and slip casting, and the class willserve as a foundational introduction to commonmethods and principles used to successfullyproduce a plaster mold and cast ceramicmultiples. Each student will have the opportunityto learn how to plan their project, create their ownplaster mold for slip casting, casting, firing, andglazing their pieces to completion.There is a supply list for this class.

2 ct - 2 gallon buckets
1 - Basic pottery tools including needle tool
1 - Disposable toothbrush
Dust mask or respirator
Apron (or wear something that can get dirty)
