Description
Ceramics: Surface Techniques
Instructor: Dominique Larson
How do you enhance the pieces you’ve already
started and really make them your own?
We will try slip transfers, Mishima, and more.
Let’s push your creative boundaries with your clay
surfaces, and see what you can do!
(Mishima ceramics is when the color is filled into
the grooves rather than revealed by scratching
away the top layer of the slip or underglaze.)
Prerequisite: Students need to have taken one
previous Intro or Beginning ceramics class
to attend, and be able to make their own forms.
