Discover the timeless craft of mosaic art in our Introduction to Mosaic Art class. In this course, you'll learn to create beautiful, intricate designs by assembling pieces of broken crockery -- such as plates and cups -- into larger, captivating images. Participants will have the opportunity to mosaic a flower pot of their choice using materials they select.
This class covers essential mosaic techniques, including cutting crockery, planning layouts, designing patterns, and grouting. With step-by-step, hands-on guidance you'll master the skills needed to design mosaics that reflect thoughtful color combinations, spacing, and personal creativity.Create a unique, handcrafted masterpiece while exploring the beauty of mosaic art!Materials Cost: Approximately $50-$100, depending on the variety and quantity of supplies students choose.No prior mosaic experience is needed. Students are responsible for bringing their own supplies, and the instructor will provide suggestions on the first day.
