About this event
**We are trying something new this year for the first several trips. We are going to make them all lottery trips to give everyone an equal opportunity to get on. The lottery for this trip will occur on Wednesday September 4th so please sign up before then. I will be sending out communication letting you know who is on the trip that afternoon.** Trip Description: There is nothing better than getting in a tube and floating down the river. RiverGirl, a river outfitter in Todd, NC, has let us borrow some of their tubes so we can explore the Greenway in a new way. Join us for an afternoon of fun in the sun! What to bring: A hearty snack Change of clothes/bathing suit Towel Water bottle Warm layer What to bring: - Swimsuit (must be appropriate) or clothes that you don't mind getting wet - Sandals that can be secured to your feet or water shoes (flip flops not recommended) - Full change of clothes (including shoes) - Water - Hardy snack - Small day bag that can get wet - Rain Jacket - Towel - Sunscreen - Hat/sunglasses
