LOTTERY SIGN UP DEADLINE: Monday March 31st ** Sign up by this date to be included in the initial lottery ** WE HAVE TWO DIFFERENT OPTIONS FOR SPRING BREAK THIS YEAR. BOTH WILL BE JOINT TRIPS WITH OUR AVERY COUNTY BRANCH. There is a cost associated with this trip, but we DO NOT want that to prevent anyone from signing up. The price of this trip will not cover all costs incurred by Mountain Alliance, so we ask for each person to consider what they are able to pay and If you would like to bring in cash/check OR would like to create a payment plan, please contact leah@MountainAlliance.org. Option #1: Washington, DC ($200) We will be going to Washington DC to visit different Smithsonian museums, the Botanical Gardens, monuments, and more! We will be doing some service along the Anacostia River and Glen Echo Park and will go on a hike in Shenandoah National Park. Come join us on this awesome spring break opportunity! Option #2: Charleston/Savannah ($200) Join us for a fun-filled week of exploration, adventure, and history as we visit Charleston, SC and Savannah, GA! We will spend time at the beach learning about and watching marine life, volunteering with local organizations, and learning about the history of the area. Join us for ghost tours and embrace the rich culture of the coastal Southeast!
