**We are trying something new this year for the first several trips. We are going to make them all lottery trips to give everyone an equal opportunity to get on. The lottery for this trip will occur on Tuesday September 17th so please sign up before then. I will be sending out communication letting you know who is on the trip that afternoon.** Trip Description: Lets hangout by the river and search for Macro invertebrates in the water! Macro Invertebrates are small spineless creatures that are born in the water and large enough to see without the aid of a microscope. We will also learn about our water quality and what small creatures call our waters home! After looking we can hangout in the river and swim if we find a spot we want to hangout at! What to bring: - Swimsuit (must be appropriate) or clothes that you don't mind getting wet - Sandals that can be secured to your feet or water shoes (flip flops not recommended) - Full change of clothes (including shoes) - Water - Hardy snack - Rain Jacket - Towel - Sunscreen - Hat/sunglasses
