Join us for the screening of Les Promesses by Thomas Kruithof, followed by a discussion with Barbara Bouquegneau, President of the French Library.Hailed by critics for its "bluffing realism" and "gripping, non-manichaean storytelling," Les Promesses offers "a fine analysis of the political world." The film’s compelling performances from Isabelle Huppert and Reda Kateb have been widely praised.The evening includes a post-screening discussion and a celebratory glass of wine where you’ll have a chance to connect with fellow film enthusiasts.
