About this event

Description

Join us in the elegant Victorian Founder's Room for our seventh Wine Seminar of the year, dedicated to exploring the esteemed Bordeaux region through its exquisite wines (second edition).

Bordeaux, a historic and picturesque region in southwestern France, is celebrated for its illustrious vineyards, grand châteaux, and a winemaking tradition that dates back over two thousand years. Renowned for its full-bodied reds and sophisticated whites and rosés, Bordeaux's vineyards flourish across diverse landscapes, from the banks of the Gironde River to the rolling hills of the Médoc and Saint-Émilion. The region's varied terroir and ideal climate conditions contribute to the production of world-class wines, including the classic blends of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, and Malbec.

Jo-Ann Ross, Bordeaux Wine Master Educator and Director of Education for the Boston Sommelier Society, will be our esteemed host for the evening. With her extensive knowledge and expertise, Jo-Ann will guide us through a carefully curated selection of Bordeaux wines, providing valuable insights and enhancing participants' appreciation of this legendary wine region.

During the seminar, guests will enjoy tasting a variety of Bordeaux wines, thoughtfully paired with light bites.
