Important information below, please review carefully before completing your registration. This is a 4-day summer camp (Monday - Thursday) Camp fees are non-refundable once the camp begins. There are no refunds or make-up rides due to missed rides, ride cancellations, or athlete not wanting to participate in camp. Camps with less than 4 athletes registered will be combined with another camp, or cancelled. In the event of a cancellation due to low enrollment, SMBA program fees will be refunded (service fees charged by Active.com are non-refundable) Registration may be cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the start of the camp with partial refund (program fee minus $75). Service / Credit card fees charged by Active.com are non-refundable. In the event of a camp cancellation due to low enrollment (fewer than 4 athletes) a full refund will be issued. Athletes are dropped off and picked up at a different location each day of camp. A ride schedule and packing list will be emailed out to all registered participants 1-week before the camp is scheduled to begin. This camp is geared towards newer riders who can ride a bike but may not have a lot of experience riding on trails. Athletes should be comfortable balancing and pedaling their bikes on flat and gravel surfaces prior to the first day of camp; and should be prepared to ride with the group and listen to and follow coaches' instructions throughout the day. Bikes must have a minimum 20" wheel size, front and rear hand brakes, and working gears and shifters. Due to the varying terrain and safety reasons, coaster brakes are not allowed. We strongly discourage singlespeed bikes for our camp athletes. Athletes must carry their lunch, water, a tube, sunscreen, and tissue paper for the duration of the ride. The group will stop for snacks and lunch along the trail during the day. Athletes should be prepared for a full day of riding and being outside in hot, summer weather.
