About this event
Instructor Jimbob Baird will take you on a fun and healthy, self-entertaining musical learning experience on the acoustic drum kit. Jimbob is a long-time musician, who will start out by teaching you the rudiments on a snare drum followed by adding the hi-hats, kick drum, cymbals, and tom toms. Before too long you will be rocking along to your favorite songs, shuffling to the Blues, swinging those drumsticks to the Jazz beat. This is a hands-on class where you learn at your own pace. One-hour in-person or virtual class sessions are held at a mutually agreed time and are $35 each. Student requirements are a snare drum, stand, stool, pair of drumsticks, a sense of adventure, and a love of music! World percussion class is also available during this session. Note: Class not eligible for discounts. Students are encouraged to sign up for multiple lessons. Minimum number of students required for the class to make: 1
