$105 non-refundable deposit to the Tampa Bay HEAT. Pay just the deposit with a payment plan today, or pay in full. ALGEBRA II: This course is very thorough. It expands on topics covered in Algebra 1, as well as new topics in Algebra. Homework is given each week and the student is expected to complete all assignments. It is recommended for students who have taken Algebra I and Geometry, but may be taken the year after Algebra I, if the student did very well in their Algebra I class. Class size limit is 20 students. Curriculum: The text used is ALGEBRA II: A FRESH APPROACH by Christy Walters. This book is a hardcover book that the students will write in. Although it is tempting to have the student refrain from writing in the text so as to save it for a younger sibling, I highly encourage that they be allowed to write in the book Kelly Mamott. I am a Christian, and former homeschooling mom. I graduated in 1988 from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Mathematics Education. I was certified in Florida for Mathematics Grade 6-12. I taught in a public Middle School until my first child was born in 1993. We began our homeschool journey in 2002. I have homeschooled our 4 children. During these years, I also taught several homeschool classes, including Algebra, Geometry, and Chemistry as well as variety of co-op style classes. I have privately tutored students in various high school math classes. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach high school level math courses
