Physical Science Course Description This course covers such topics as the scientific method, how to design and understand sound scientific experiments, atomic theory, earth science, weather, physics of motion, Newton’s laws, waves, light and astrophysics. Learning methods will include required and optional reading materials, laboratory experiments, dissections and games, completing interactive activities with the internet and technology. I try to include at least one field trip experience. She has been homeschooling for 12 years. She has extensive undergraduate training in the field of science. After Graduating from Stetson University in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and a Minor in Medical Sciences, she decided to further her studies about the human body when a debilitating shoulder injury was corrected by her hometown Chiropractor. She graduated as a Chiropractic Physician in 1999 from Life University in Atlanta, Georgia. While devoting herself to homeschooling her daughters she has also taught many homeschool classes, including General Science, Physical Science, Biology, Advanced Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry. She has also taught at Keiser University and the School of Natural Healing, advanced level Biology and Anatomy and Physiology.
