Beginner sailing classes taught on classic Herreshoff 12 1/2s and other boats in the sailing school fleet for students with no prior experience or limited sailing abilities. This class covers the basic principles and skills of sailing – boat parts & vocabulary, boat handling, tacking, jibing, and mooring. Topics will be discussed prior to sailing in the sailing school classroom at 17 Burnside Street. Class is limited to 4 students per instructor Tues/Thurs: 5:30 - 8:00 pm.
