About this event
1 Day Workshop As a class, we will learn the histories of the Tibetan practice of sand mandalas. We will engage in conversation about how this artistic practice is an example of buddhist principles, and discuss how our own art practice can be a conduit to express wider community and interpersonal beliefs. We will use darkroom paper and found objects to create “mandalas” of our own, and engage with the meditative qualities of photography.
