About this event
Build math problem solving skills and participate in friendly competition. MathCounts is a national math program open to students in Grades 6-8. Our 5th graders are invited to join to learn more about the program and prepare for a future on our competition team. Therefore, MathCounts club is open to all Middle School students. During MathCounts, club students solve engaging and fun math problems individually and with a team. Learn strategies to improve both your speed and accuracy in math. We will play games, compete in high-speed competitions, and work together to learn unique ways to approach math. Students in Grades 6-8 who intend to participate on our school competition team should join the MathCounts club. The competition is in February.
