Movement for Life: Older Adult (55+)Prerequisites
- This program is for individuals who are 55 years and older of any fitness level
- A PAR-Q+ (medical intake form) is required for all participants before attending
Training Overview
This 12-week fitness program addresses four components: balance, mobility, strength, and endurance.
Each 75-minute class includes a warm-up, aerobic workout, strength training, balance exercises, stretching, and a cool-down.
What You Get
- Access to the recreation and fitness facility for the duration of the 12-week program
- Assessment/progress folder (we will test your strength, balance, and endurance throughout the program to ensure you are progressing your fitness level)
- Tea 'n Talk - this will take place at the end of the 12-week session. Let us treat you to a beverage and some opening conversation.
- Sit down with our Customer Experience and Fitness Supervisor and Fitness Coordinator to discuss successes and ways we can grow the program together.
