Description
Prerequisite(s): 4-6 years old.
This six week experiential course is a great opportunity for children to challenge themselves and explore the exciting sport of indoor climbing. Our certified instructors create a safe and encouraging environment where personal growth and development thrive, and our low 1:4 instructor ratio ensures that each child will get plenty of personalized attention. Registration includes a top rope belay lesson during the sixth class for one parent so that you can continue to enjoy climbing with your child during our drop-in hours (a $40 value)!
Participant Outcomes:
At the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- Demonstrate effective communication as a climber.
- Understand essential safety practices and harness use for indoor rock climbing.
- Experience climbing through games and experiences mixing fun with skill and knowledge development.

Program Schedule
This program consists of six 75-minute classes on Sunday mornings. The sixth class is 90-minutes to allow for a parent belay lesson (see note above). Double-check the specific program dates and times at the bottom of this page before registering.
To ensure your best experience we recommend you attend this program with:
- Active clothing and footwear (closed-toe shoes) in alignment with our facility access guidelines.
- Climbing harnesses and chalk will be provided, and climbing shoes are available for use if desired.
