Description
Whether a beginner, an explorer or an acclaimed artist, this class is for you. In this 10 week program, we will explore tools, practices and techniques of art journaling for artists and non-artists alike. Open the door to your muse and say yes to inspiration. We begin with exploring the concept art journaling, using the tools (pen, pencil, color and paper) and basic concepts of line, shape, texture, perspective and composition. In subsequent weeks we will work from life and from photos, practicing these basic skills to create your own style and build your confidence. We will also empower you to express yourself with confidence. Come expand your knowledge, ignite your passion, and light up your life with the power of art journaling. Select the level that best illuminates your creative journey. Drop ins allowed $25 per session.
Glimmer: 4 week introductory program. $79.00Includes:Learn the basic tools and techniques of Art Journaling - first 4 sessions. Learn simple drawing skills including line, shape, texture, perspective, and composition. Receive resources, resource photos, handouts and support to develop your practice.
Glow: 6 week program. $108.00 Includes:all of the Glimmer level, plus, Join any 2 additional course dates. Access to individual creativity coaching sessions (fees range from $75-150 per session)
Blazer: Full 10 week program. $153.00 Includes: all of the Glow level plus attend 4 additional weeks of programming, access to individual creativity coaching sessions (fees range from $75-150 per session)
Dazzler: Full 10 week program. $189.00 Includes: all of the Blazer level plus, a free, individualized creativity coaching session, plus, access to up to 6 individualized creativity coaching sessions at a reduced fee plus a free Mindful Muse Art Journal (5.5"x5.5", 200 gsm mixed media paper, lay flat coptic binding) (NOTE: larger journal [8.5x5.5] can be ordered for an additional $10.00)
