Description
2025 Pleasant Mountain Ski and Ride Program for 3rd - 8th graders.
We will be taking two coach buses to Pleasant Mountain on Thursday's.
In order to run a successful and safe program, we rely on parent volunteers to help on the bus and at the mountain. You do not have to know how to ski or board to help out.
Program Dates: Thursday's January 9, 16, 23, 30 February 6, 13, (make up date Feb. 27)
Time: 3:05pm- 8:45pm leaving school campus immediately after school and returning by 8:45pm
Lessons (1 hour) will be offered for all participants. Participants in 3-4 grade are strongly encouraged to participate in lessons.(5-8 graders may waive the lessons if ski or snowbaord level is 4 or above)

Waivers and Rental fitting forms to be completed online
When registering for Pleasant Mountain Program please choose all options that fit your needs:
- Transportation: Primary fee for all
- Add Lift Ticket = for 6 week program.
- Add Lessons = 1 hour lesson for 5 weeks, last night is free ski/ride.
- Add Rentals= rent equipment for 6 week program, includes helmet. Helmets are Mandatory for this program.
Level is their ability to ski or ride:
Levels: (please choose the level that best describes your skier/riders ability)
First Time Skier/Rider
Learning to stop and control speed.
Learning to control speed with Skier: you will learn to ski parallel with pole usage. Riders you will learn to carve toe and heel and ride switch.
Comfortable on Black trails, Skiers: you can ski parallel with pole usage. You will learn to make long and short turns, explore bumps, and ski all terrain in all conditions. Riders: you will learning to make long and short turns, explore bumps, and ride all terrain, in all conditions.
