Description
Loosen your marshmallow-roasting arm, pack up the tent, and head to Veterans Oasis Park for a night full of outdoor games, flashlight hikes, camp food, and campfires. Families can enjoy an overnight campout as they discover the fun of being in the great outdoors. Wake in the morning to the sounds of birds singing, coffee brewing, and enjoy breakfast by the lakeside. All campers must provide their own tent and sleeping bag. A very limited supply of tents are available to borrow from the CNC on a first-come, first-served basis; please call the CNC to inquire about availability. Staff will be on hand during the event to provide educational activities, games, and snack food. Child supervision not provided. Parents must register, attend, and participate in campout.NOTE: For previous campouts, only children had to be registered, and their registration included one parent to accompany them. To ensure all members of families are able to attend, registration is required for ALL attendees (i.e. all people in a family wanting to participate will have to register and pay).
