Description
Join skilled storytellers for a cup of coffee and candid conversation that entertains, educates, and encourages a sense of wonder about science and the natural world around us. The speaker series hosts guest lecturers and light refreshments.
What is an urban forest? Do we have one in Chandler? Ryan McCartney, an urban forester for the City of Chandler, will introduce the beneficial practice of urban forestry and how it contributes to thriving and healthy communities. He will also share the surprising results and milestones from the City's recent city-wide tree inventory.
