This Defensive Driving Course, developed by the National Safety Council, reviews basic crash prevention techniques. It's taught by experienced, professional traffic safety instructors, including officers of the MN State Patrol. The class consists of lecture, films and discussions. There is no behind-the-wheel driving and there are no tests.After finishing this class, you will receive a certificate of completion to give to your insurance company for the 10% renewal discount. There is no longer a requirement to complete an initial 8-Hour class. This class will fulfill the requirement to get your discount, and you will be required to repeat it every 3 years to maintain the discount. This class is offered in-person at the Chanhassen Recreation Center. There is no remote zoom option.Location
