Description
Invite wellness into your life through a mindful journey on the land. This wellness session will focus on honoring and celebrating the Winter Solstice. Discover the therapeutic benefits that nature has to offer as we bring back the light. Through proven mindful techniques, such as sensory engagement, meditation walks and sit spots, we will slow down and open up to the healing power of the more than human world. No experience needed. Led by a certified Mindful Outdoor Guide. Adult participation required if under 18.Pre-registration required. Please note that this is not a hike. We will gently walk through the forest for no more than a mile. There will also be a period of sitting on the ground.
