For individuals 6 and up who are blind and/or visually impairedBlind Sports Day is an annual event that celebrates White Cane Awareness Day and the abilities of individuals, ages 6 and up, who are blind and/or visually impaired. Sports/activities will include but not limited to tethered running, tandem cycling, inflatable obstacle course, soccer, games tent, musical bingo, sports demonstrations, community vendors, and more!
*PRE-REGISTRATION DEADLINE - OCTOBER 8
Volunteers are needed and MUST be at least 18 years old. For more information contact vernice.gallonclyburn@mecknc.gov or 980-314-1308.
Event will happen rain or shine. Free lunch ONLY available for participants who pre-register. Food will be available for purchase by non-event participants.
