About this event
Learn to masterfully incorporate color in your prints by purposefully blending safe wash as well as traditional oil-based printmaking inks and additives. Create color resource charts and complete monotype, relief, and intaglio printing exercises to gain a better understanding of color mixing. Learn about color interaction, harmony, value, intensity, contrast, temperature, and transparency/opacity to advance your artistic endeavors. This class is applicable to any artist who wishes to expand their palette. Participants will investigate the significance of color and optics, and work to improve their perception, continue to establish their own visual language, and develop more consistency and self-assurance in their work.
