This summer we are so excited to welcome back our tweens and teens program. There have been many successful summers with this group, and we can’t wait to keep it going! This 6-week program will be tailored to the needs of the older youth in our community. There will be more hands-on learning and lots of games. Come check out our nature week, engineering week, Amazing Race and so much more!PLEASE NOTE: no program on August 5. Programs will run rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. Bringing water, sunscreen, and a snack is recommended. We will not be providing lunch, but participants are welcome to bring one!
Teenage Tree Climbers | July 8Hubbards Barn has some of the greatest trees, feel free to explore your comfort zone and climb trees in a safe learning environment with our REC leaders. During this nature week we will learn about the great plants and wildlife the trails have to offer!
Hands-on Experiments | July 15To support the growing minds in our community we have planned a week of hands-on learning. Whether we’re making elephant’s toothpaste, sodium lava lamps, or paint bombs, it will all be quite exciting!
Be The Bigger Hero | July 22You should marvel at this week’s program. Teen Titans please assemble to show off your speed, agility and brain power. Soar into this week to play some awesome games and push your limits!
Hubbards Ghost Busters | July 29This week our summer staff will take you through a spooky scary day. We’ll dabble in sharing scary stories and making terrifying crafts! Don’t forget your ghostly sunscreen!
Design Your Own World | August 12The world needs new ideas and we know you’re up for the challenge! Help us build structures and come up with funky designs for this engineering week.
Amazing Race | August 19Our summer staff are so excited to bring you another Amazing Race this year. What a way to end the Summer. Can’t wait to see you there!
