Calling all New Ross kiddos, we have a very exciting summer planned for you! We invite you to come to a fun-filled summer full of games, crafts, and trail adventures. Come learn about the creatures in the forest, magical spells and how to be a superhero!
Programs will run rain or shine, so dress appropriately for the weather. Bringing water, sunscreen, and a snack is recommended. We will not be providing lunch, but participants are welcome to bring one!Up & Coming Explorers | July 9 Nature is all around you, and our summer REC staff want to help you understand it! Join us to discover the trees, bugs and leaves all around NRCS. Get your magnifying glass ready to reveal the wonders of the world!
A Magical Program | July 16 Come learn about the magic of the forest as we explore the trails! There will be lots of time to stop and look for fairy homes and maybe a goblin or two. Our summer staff will also teach you how to make the most magical wands!
Fly Through Summer | July 23 At this program we will be taking you through intense superhero training. Superhero school is a great way to stay active, stay sharp and practice kindness! Fly right into this week with a great spirit!
A Spooky Summer | July 30Deep on the trails there’s tales of a witches’ hut full of potions and treasures. Join the summer leaders this week as we venture into the woods for a fun filled Halloween program. Don’t forget to bring some water… just in case we see the witch!
Child Cheetahs | August 6 Celebrate our diverse planet full of so many animals and species! Here we will appreciate all things big, small, sticky, slimy, and soft. Hopefully we find some cool animals in the forest!
Bridging Connections | August 13 Bridge your connections this week between the friends you’ve made at summer camp! We’ll be putting you to the test to see if you can come up with the newest and coolest designs. Make sure you bring your thinking cap for engineering… and for sun safety!
The New Ross Race | August 20Share your favourite games you’ve learned this summer with everyone! This week will be an exciting day focused on the games you love and some good old friendly competitions. We can’t wait to see your A game!
