About this event
Description
This classroom-based defensive driving course is designed for persons 50 and older who are seeking to learn how to operate their vehicle safely, learn the current rules of the road, and sharpen their driving skills. After eight hours of instruction, a DMV certificate will be issued entitling participants to a discount on their automobile insurance. A one-day renewal course is available to those who have previously completed the full two-day course. Pre -registration is required. Location: Alexander Hughes Community Center (1700 Danbury Road.)
Materials fee: $25 ($20 for AARP members) in cash or check due to the instructor on the first day of class.
