There's something special about riding mountain bikes at night. The weather is nice and cool, parks are empty, and nocturnal wildlife is out and about. So let's go get after it! Join us on Thursdays in November through December as we explore our local open space. Parents are welcome to register for this program as well. Our night ride series is led by Coach Joe, who has been riding these trails at night for the past 10 years. This program is primarily focused on guided rides, rather than a heavy focusing on riding techniques and mechanics. Coaches are prepared to offer helpful tips and feedback. Lights are required. Wheel Kids has a limited number of lights available for use at no cost on a first-come-first-served basis. Ages: Ages 8+, Level 5+ skill level. Parents are welcome to register for this program as well! Equipment: Properly fitting two-wheel pedal bike appropriate for off-road use. Front and rear hand brakes & gears required. Bike-specific lights required. Wheel Kids has a limited number of lights available for use at no cost on a first-come-first-served basis.
