Joseph Brant and Chief Logan : “Thayendanegea” Brant was a Mohawk leader during the American Revolution and a political leader before and after the war. His sister was Molly Brant and married to Sir William Johnson. Chief Logan was a Cayuga orator and war leader. His family was murdered by Virginia long knives in 1774. His famous speech was Logan’s lament.Age Group/Camp
