Summer Fun Day Camp: Week 1 - Block 1

Description
This block consists of the following classes. Supplies are included unless otherwise noted in the class descriptions.
9:00am-12:00pm: Clay and Sculpture
Create fun and unique 3D artwork with your personal flair. Combine clay, glaze, paint and mixed-media materials to make one-of-a-kind cups, bowls, sculptural creatures and more! Learn how to design, build and finish your creations in this hands-on class. Clay pieces will be fired and glazed or painted with acrylic paints.

12:45-3:45pm: Dance and Movement
Learn ways to express yourself while having fun. Participate in a variety of dance and movement activities including stretching, yoga, movement games and choreography. Create art projects to use as dance props. Wear comfortable clothing you can move in and non-marking, indoor running shoes or bare feet. On Friday, at the end of class, families will be invited to see what we’ve been working on.

Outdoor activities may occur during the camp week and will be supervised and within walking distance of Place des Arts.
