Description
This Canadian music program provides instruction in keyboard skills, singing, ear training, theory, rhythm, sight-reading and composing through dynamic hands-on teaching techniques. The program consists of four progressive levels: Sunrise, Sunshine, Sunbeams and Moonbeams. Find out more about these levels at placedesarts.ca/music-for-young-children. Parent/guardian participation is required. Handouts and homework will be provided every week to help with daily practice.
Sunrise is a 3-level class progressing through the fall, winter and spring sessions. It is an exciting and innovative pre-school program that fits a young child’s development. A Teddy bear helps teach rhythms and puppet friends guide children through stories, songs and games. A keyboard or piano must be present at home for students to practice.
