Description
Winter sowing is an easy, low maintenance seed starting process that allows you to start plants outside during the winter months. It's super low tech and gives you really good results. You can winter sow annuals, perennials, wildflowers, vegetable, and more, anything that needs cold weather stratification for seeds to germinate. We will be going step-by-step over the process of creating our gallon jug greenhouses.
We have MCCD native seeds for you to choose to sow and we will supply the soil, tools, tape, and plant markers so you have a finished product to take home. Please bring one clean gallon jug to use during the program.Registration is required for adults and children. Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult that is registered for the program.
