Description
Join Culpeper Parks & Recreation in welcoming the Charlottesville Cardinals Wheelchair Basketball Team on September 28th from 3:00pm - 3:45pm in the Fieldhouse gymnasium. The Cardinals will be bringing extra specialized wheelchairs to allow for participants to compete in various basketball skills and game activities. Ages 18+.
There are other time slots available for younger and older spectators. These can be found on our website under activities: www.CulpeperRecreation.com.
The Cardinals are a nationally ranked wheelchair basketball team residing in Charlottesville, VA. The team was created to provide athletes with disabilities an opportunity for exercise and competitive recreation, as well as a place to educate the general public concerning the capabilities of individuals with disabilities.
Spectators will be playing basketball in and out of the wheelchairs during the 45 minute clinic!
