Description
Due to assistant instructor changes. bread made will now be an Irish Soda Bread - NOT sourdough.Get ready to unlock the secrets of crafting perfect sourdough bread IRISH SODA BREAD and making a delicious Traditional Irish Potato Soup...both from scratch! Whether you're a bread enthusiast or a complete beginner, this cooking class is taught by a mom/daughter who will provide a complete cooking experience!
The first half of the class will start with how to make the dough, kneading, folding, etc. The second portion begins soup making. The class ends with a meal together of your labors.
EQUIPMENT REQUIRED TO BRING WITH YOU:
3.5 Quart or Larger Dutch Oven (Used for Both Soup & Bread-Making)Your favorite paring knife for peeling and chopping
Bring an apron if you'd like, along with oven mitts and a container to take home soup (or lid for your Dutch oven).
Note: Disregard the cost of the program in the Culpeper Quarterly Fall Issue. It is incorrect. $65 is the accurate fee.
