Description
Meet us at Mountain Run Lake Park for a 2 hour event of fishing and fun! We will have a chance to practice knot tying, attaching a bobber, casting and reeling in backyard bass. We will then have a chance to test our newly acquired skills against the Blue Gill of Mountain Run Lake. The program will meet at Shelter #2 near the lake at Mountain Run Lake Park.
No rod, no problem! There will be 20 rods available for use. Participants over the age of 16 will need to have a valid fishing license.
Purchase your Virginia Fishing License Here.
A limited number of fishing rods are available for use for the program, but if you have your own rod and reel, please bring it. A limited amount of basic bait will be provided to participants.
