About this event

OSHA 1032 Forklift Operator Industrial and construction operations require operators of forklifts, or other powered industrial lift trucks, be certified by the employer. A certification documents that a person has been trained to operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner. OSHA requires employers ensure that each forklift operator be competent to operate a forklift safely. This course will provide the student with classroom and hands-on learning techniques to properly operate a forklift. NOTE: All students must wear safety toe footwear. No athletic or open-toe shoes will be permitted. Topics 29 CFR 1910.178 Powered Industrial Trucks Operating instructions, warnings, precautions Steering and maneuvering Loading and visibility Fork and attachment operation Vehicle stability and limitations
