Description
Interact with fellow experienced carvers of varying levels while creating a human facial piece. Class will be facilitated by Keith Radick. Study the basics of facial proportions and individual element details. This will be accomplished in the carvers’ creation of a human full face in a basswood block (pay instructor $10). As this is an advanced class, carvers are expected to provide their own tools and personal protective equipment (principally cut-resistant gloves). If you have them, please bring gouges with sweeps of 9, 10 or 11 (in various widths).
Prerequisites for this class are completion of the SourcePoint Basic and Intermediate carving classes. Any exceptions will be on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of the instructor.
