Description
Students seeking to gain professional experience before graduation to learn, grow, and prove themselves before they enter or re-enter the workforce can apply to the YMCA to complete their internship hours.Hours are flexible depending on your internship requirements. Once you complete this application a YMCA representative will be in touch with you to discuss further. Completing this application does not guarantee you will be selected as an intern at the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit. All internships are unpaid.
Potential Interns will choose a track listed in the Package List below.

*The YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of children in our programs. We hold all volunteers regardless of service project, to the highest possible standards. We require volunteers that are working with youth to be screened regularly and sign a code of conduct. All volunteers will be monitored when interacting with program participants. We rake any inappropriate interactions between program participants and with volunteers very seriously and will fully cooperate with authorities in any case of abuse.
