Description
A young boy grieving over his father's death befriends a retired physician (played by James Earl Jones), a former chief of cardiology who has returned to his hometown in North Georgia where he a had a traumatic boyhood. Racial intolerance in the local, predominately white lakeside community challenges their relationship.
