Howard County Master Gardeners Presents: Birds of Maryland
November 15, 2024 - 1:00 pm
Attracting and Protecting our Feathered Friends Maryland's range of habitats from bay to mountains attracts an incredible diversity of birds. In this presentation we will meet some of our stunning local birds while exploring their amazing adaptions. Ever wondered how birds learn their songs or if woodpeckers get headaches? We will also discover some of the secrets to seeing more birds, how to safely attract them to your yard while supplying proper nutrition and how we ensure they continue to fill our skies with song and color.
