Join us at the B&O Ellicott City Station Museum for a Special Presentation from guest speaker Dr Aaron Marrs, author of “The American Transportation Revolution: A Social and Cultural History.” In the first half of the nineteenth century, transportation in the United States underwent an extraordinary transformation. But the importance of transportation went beyond just moving goods and people. In this talk, Dr. Marrs will explore steam transportation's broad cultural impact on the United States.
