Description
Learn the basics of target archery including equipment, safety and elements of shooting with an USA Archery-certified instructor. This class is part of the Encore Adventure Series. No experience necessary – take this introductory course to be eligible for the HCRP Target Archery Skills Club and/or use HCRP equipment during Open Range time. Private small group & family lessons with a USA Archery-certified instructor available – take a lesson then practice your skills during Open Range time! Have a group of three or more? Encore Adventures are your opportunity to dabble in a variety of outdoor skills! Try your hand at paddling a kayak, learn the basics of archery, go fishing around Centennial Lake, get a grip on our indoor rock climbing wall and much more. Earn a certificate and patch for completing at least five Encore Adventure activities within a two-year period.
Detailed info will be emailed about a week prior to the program start. No experience necessary and all equipment provided for use during the program. This class meets the Intro requirement for future HCRP Target Archery programs – you do not have to wait to sign up for the Archery Club or Open Range at Alpha Ridge Park but you must complete the Intro class BEFORE the start date of your Archery Club section.
