Description
Each Saturday we will gather at one of the beautiful beaches or parks in Encinitas. Our focus will be on learning techniques of watercolor painting outdoors “en plein air." Topics include how to paint clouds and beaches, mixing greens, painting trees, impressionistic people and separating light & shadow while creating atmosphere.
Outdoor watercolor was one of John Singer Sargent’s favorite media because of its quickness, simplicity and versatility.
All levels are welcome. Participants must bring their own materials.
The instructor will share a suggested materials list after registration.
Locations will be sent after registration. All locations have bathrooms close by.
