The Humboldt Bay Firefighters are proud to announce we will be hosting our eighth annual dog-friendly 5k Walk/Run on Saturday, October 2019th, 2024 at 10am. The event will take place in Sequoia Park and will benefit a local non-profit animal charity. Sign up and race with or without your dog! We plan on supporting a different animal charity each year. This year we have selected Karuna Animal Rescue and Sanctuary in Kneeland, CA. It is our goal to raise money for this organization through business sponsors, donations, and race participants. All proceeds will be donated directly to the benefiting animal charity. We ask that your business take part in our endeavor to promote community involvement, healthy lifestyles, and helping animals here in Humboldt County!
