We're sorry, but Internet registration is not allowed for this Activity.
Join us for an authentic Appalachian 3-hour round trip railroad journey across the scenic, remote and rugged countryside in Trough Canyon to see American bald eagles soar and nest in their canyon home. Carved by the South Branch Potomac River, Trough Canyon is one of West Virginia's very own "Grand Little Canyons." Bring your binoculars and camera so you will not miss the wonderful photography and unique birding opportunities. Immerse yourself in nature in the open-top gondola as you cross the South Branch at Sycamore Bridge and see the same view as Founding Father George Washington so long ago! This trip is in collaboration with the Town of Vienna and transportation will be on a 55-passenger motorcoach with a restroom. Hot lunch included in trip price, bring snacks for return trip home.
