All Levels* $105-$155 Materials and Studio Fees** Come make pots with Bill Wilkey while he shows how to throw, alter, and curate forms meant for soda and salt firings. You will learn how to create essential forms that will be paired down and textured with every tool you can imagine. Learn from Wilkey’s eye for aesthetics and assembly. Wilkey will demonstrate slip and glaze application looking towards loading and stacking kilns which can ultimately turn into a game of hide and seek from soda! *Course Prerequisites: Beginners with the ability to center and throw cylinders and bowls are welcome and will gain knowledge and understanding. Wilkey will help to build on the skills you arrive with. Intermediate students who are ready to challenge their skills and be pushed to focus will benefit from this class. Advanced students who want to get out of their wheelhouse and gain new perspectives are encouraged to join. **Materials and studio fees are charged to students based on studio usage and materials Touchstone is providing at the request of the instructor. Additionally, some instructors may also require that you bring certain materials and tools with you, in which case a list will be provided. Final cost of these fees will be posted at least two weeks ahead of the workshop to be paid in full prior to check-in.
