Beginner/No Experience In this 4-session class, we will be diving headfirst into the fundamentals of wheel throwing. By creating functional work through experimenting with cups, mugs, bowls, and vases, we will learn the basic techniques and skills to create wheel thrown pottery. We will also be exploring the world of color and texture, as we investigate surface decoration and glazes. At the end of this class each student will walk away with several finished works as well as a solid foundation of throwing on the potter's wheel. *Tuition includes 25# bag of clay* Class meets every Wednesday evening from 6:00pm-8:30pm throughout May (5/7, 5/14, 5/21, 5/28) Open Studio: Tuesday & Thursday 6:00pm-9:00pm.
