Bronze Cross designed for lifesavers who want the challenge of more advanced training including an introduction to safe supervision in aquatic facilities. Bronze Cross is a prerequisite for all advanced training programs including National Lifeguard and Instructor certification. Includes a timed 400 m swim.
Bronze Cross is recognized as an assistant lifeguard certificate in Ontario Regulation 565 governing public swimming pools.
Prerequisite: Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid certifications (need not be current).
Prerequisite qualifications must be present on the first day including Bronze Medallion and Emergency First Aid. A whistle will also be requiredTextbooks not included in course fees.
