Emergency First Aid is for people who want a general knowledge of first aid principles and the emergency treatment of injuries. Skills include: victim assessment, CPR, choking and what to do for external bleeding, heart attack, stroke wounds and burns. Includes CPR-B certification. Recognized by Ontario's Workplace Safety & Insurance Board.
If you're planning to progress through the Bronze Medallion and into the Bronze Cross, please note that completing Emergency First Aid is a prerequisite. Please take this class or watch for registration for the next class on November 1, as we won't be offering Emergency First Aid in conjunction with the Bronze Medallion course this season.
